Summary of Africascope Maghreb results 

  • More than 5.5 hours of TV and digital consumption daily by the general population 
  • France 24 and TV5Monde: two recognised channels with a privileged status in the Maghreb region with more than 3.9 million individuals reached each week

Methodology of the study

  • Annual study carried out by the Kantar Media Institute
  • The 3 countries Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia constitute the geographical scope of the survey
  • Survey conducted between October and November 2020 and administered by telephone
  • The sample is made up of 5,094 individuals, including 673 executives and managers in the major urban areas of the Maghreb zone (Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangiers, Fez, Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Annaba, Greater Tunis, Sousse and Sfax)
  • The reference universe represents 13,822,000 individuals aged 15 and over in urban areas, including 912,000 executives
